An antique, 18th century, carved wooden statue of a. Saint / Santos, Priest or Monk. We date this statue as circa 1780 or older. And it is from the Spanish colonies, perhaps the Philippines.

The statue is carved from 2 pieces of wood - the head is a separate piece, the plinth is also separate and seemingly of a more recent date. It has remains of polychrome on the face and neck.
